Jeff Taylor

Jeff Taylor holds a Masters of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Science from Washington University in St. Louis. Taylor began his building career as a licensed contractor, a skill and craft that deeply informs his abilities as an architect. In 2002 while still graduate students at MIT Taylor and Miller founded their architectural practice dedicated to the research and building of form and space. Because mockups and material exploration are such an important part of the firm's design process both partners take full advantage of their carriage house workshop in the Berkshires where they often fabricate portions of their designs. Taylor maintains his contractor license and has built many of the firm's projects in New York and in the Berkshires. Taylor's merits include Honorable Mention at the Congress of New Urbanism, 2004 Charter Awards, and he has also lectured at Princeton University.
